OUaSS 12: BerlinAfter week of hiding in Stockholm, waiting for Redemption to give up their search for them and finally travel out of Europe, V.2, Gancen, the Ravages, and the Kombatants made the trip to Germany. After getting Karma Mistress caught up with the scoop, and securing their safety in the care of the two Zanarkand Abes, Pocket Monsters left Europe as well; hoping to gain some more fame before attempting the challenge.   
The rumors of the four musicians traveling by boat instead of plane did not go with the other four bands to Berlin.   
The Kombatants and Ravages went to check out their new suites for the week, again granted to OUaSS 12: Berlin

They arrived in Stockholm; the crews behind the Monsters, Kombatants, and V.2 already on the rise and getting ready to see their bands on their way to getting their needed global promoter. From there, provided they had the right fame, they would be invited to the Rolling Stones Rock Immortal Challenge; upon it’s completion, they would join John and Joc, even though the latter still refused to take the title, the Four Swordsmen, Falcon of F-Zer0X, Redemption, and Morocco’s group, as well as other bands that have became Rock Immortals.

OUaSS 10: Closing the CallTwo days, the Brothers Crew grabbed their crew of roadies, and headed for mainland Europe; following the trail V.2 seemed to have set.   
Three days, the two surviving Swordsmen followed Lance’s and Morocco’s bands’ trails; one going for Tokyo while the other traveled to Istanbul.   
Four days, Scorpion awoken after his second collapse; the bands all gathered together and caught themselves up with what had happened during their stay in France.   
Five days, the five bands packed their bags and continued further into the heart of Europe: going for the Netherlands, and the NA’AM Convention. Ther OUaSS 10: Closing the Call

Bass and Vocals: Female and Male counterparts either working solo or together. From New York, Rock Band USA, these two rockers are ready to show the world just exactly who they are!

Although not many know this, Joc is secretly part of a rollerskating mafia. She also shares my hyperactivity and love of Rock Band, and my love of the Bass. Take the name of the Bass in shame, and feel the disturbance in the force that is our vengeance! C:<

But, because I didn't like the idea of creating another female rocker when I sing and play at the same time, Al was eventually born. He shares my determination and loyalty to the game, and he gets to sing! A lot! Quit a song halfway through, both he and I will be questioning why you bothered going outside your boundaries.

Either way, these two are ready to rock the world right! =D

You know, I was thinking about Stephanie Meyer a lot lately, and I was thinking. It's kind of odd, because everybody obsesses over Twilight, and yet I've never seen anybody talk about the book she wrote immediately after that garbage that we all know as Breaking Dawn that isn't at all related to the Twilight saga; I of course refer to her book, The Host.

I dunno. I remember peeking over my mom's shoulder while she was reading The Host this one time on the plane... well, okay, several times on the plane. But the thing about The Host is that from what I peeked in on, it's infinitely better than Twilight and yet nobody ever talks about it. It has a far more interesting premise (Girl falls in love with boy who's a vampire and thus causes all this coincidental Mary Sue/Gary Stu-related bullshit to happen vs. Alien race comes down, takes over people's minds in a takeover plot, and one of the people that one... uh... entity of this alien race tries to take over refuses to cooperate with the thing taking over her mind? I think we know who the clear winner of this contest is.), the writing is decidedly a little more interesting (at least, I saw different fonts going around in the opening pages of the book, indicating dual narratives from the same mind and there were fairly varied descriptions), and the chracters are decidedly better (the girl who refuses to cooperate with the thing taking over her mind runs into a group of people that have been spared from being taken over, and more than half the people in this group of five are absolutely distrustful of her at first when they find out she's got one of them in her mind).

So, yeah, Twilight still sucks, but I still think Stephanie Meyer has a very slim chance of reception among those of us with a brain. I dunno, I'll need to look into The Host in a little more detail to say for sure if she can redeem herself, but other than that I think... well... you know.
